Gravity Payments Login and Multi-Location Account Access

Gravity Payments provides payment-processing services and merchant account tools for businesses. This independent guide is not affiliated with Gravity Payments and cannot access or change a merchantโ€™s account.

The main task is choosing the account system associated with the business. Gravityโ€™s Merchant Logins page provides access to Gravity Dashboard and routes merchants toward other platforms according to their merchant ID.

Why Gravity Payments Has More Than One Login Route

A search for โ€œGravity Payments loginโ€ suggests there should be one universal sign-in page. Gravityโ€™s official account page shows otherwise.

Gravity Dashboard is listed for monthly statements, batch reports and Virtual Terminal access. The page also includes a merchant-ID selector and separate ChargeItPro login options.

That means a failed login may begin before the password is entered. The business could be using the wrong portal.

Gravity says the merchant ID, commonly shortened to MID, appears in the email received after installation or in the top-left corner of the merchant statement.

Use that number to confirm the account route first. Skip password recovery until the platform has been identified.

Gravity also maintains Access One for certain standalone or non-integrated processing accounts. Its support documentation says Access One is available when the company MID begins with โ€œ4โ€ or โ€œ5โ€ and can provide batch history, chargeback information and monthly statements.

This is a concrete wrong-page problem. A merchant assigned to Access One may spend time trying to recover a Gravity Dashboard account that was never created.

What Gravity Dashboard Is Used For

Gravity describes its Dashboard as a centralized tool for viewing and managing payment activity. It provides a snapshot of recent transactions, batch history and sales performance, and it includes a Virtual Terminal for supported processing activity.

The live Dashboard login page lists several merchant functions:

  • accepting payments
  • accessing monthly statements
  • reviewing live transaction reporting
  • printing previous receipts
  • applying transaction filters
  • seeing transactions across locations

The final function deserves attention. Multi-location visibility can make one Dashboard account look very different from another.

A company owner may see activity across several stores. A location manager may see only one branch. Another employee may enter the Dashboard but lack access to statements or payment tools.

The site can be working normally in all three cases.

Why a Transaction May Appear to Be Missing

A missing transaction is not always a processing failure. The user may be viewing the wrong merchant location, date range or account.

Gravity Dashboard advertises cross-location transaction visibility, but the actual records shown depend on the businesses and locations connected to the user.

Check these items before escalating:

  1. Confirm the selected business or location.
  2. Narrow the transaction date.
  3. Review the amount and receipt reference.
  4. Check whether another terminal or location processed the payment.
  5. Review the associated batch.

Prioritize the location selector. Skip a broad transaction search until the account and branch are correct.

This matters in organizations where one legal business operates several storefronts, clinics, departments or service sites. The employee may know the customer and amount but not realize the payment was entered through a different merchant account.

A previous receipt can help. Gravityโ€™s Dashboard page specifically lists printing past receipts as one of its available functions.

Statements Can Require Separate Access

Gravity Dashboard provides access to monthly processing statements, but opening the Dashboard does not prove that a user can see every account document.

When a Statements screen is missing, check these possibilities:

  • the merchant belongs in another portal
  • the user was assigned to the wrong location
  • statement permission was not granted
  • the accountโ€™s statements are available through Access One
  • the merchant relationship changed and the user profile was not updated

Do this before repeatedly resetting the password. A password reset changes login access; it does not correct an account or location assignment.

Gravity publishes a dedicated statement-access support page and directs merchants with questions to its technical support team.

Statements are also a useful source for the MID. Gravity says the merchant number appears in the upper-left corner of the statement, which can help identify the correct login route.

Keep a recent statement available when account routing is unclear.

Using the Virtual Terminal

Gravityโ€™s Virtual Terminal appears under Virtual Terminal in the left control panel of Gravity Dashboard. The company lists four available transaction categories: Sale, Authorization, Capture or Force, and Void or Refund.

Not every signed-in employee should assume that this menu will appear. The account must use the feature, and the userโ€™s role must permit the relevant activity.

For a void, Gravityโ€™s published workflow begins in the Dashboardโ€™s left navigation. Multi-location users are told to select the appropriate location, open the Void/Refund tab and search for the transaction.

The location step comes first for a reason. Processing an action under the wrong branch can make reconciliation harder and may prevent the transaction from appearing in the search results.

Find the original transaction first. Skip creating a second transaction to offset it.

A refund, void and chargeback also describe different events. Gravity explains that a chargeback is a cardholder dispute, while a refund is usually requested directly from the merchant and resolved outside the formal dispute process.

Gravity Portals Is Not Gravity Dashboard

Gravity Portals is an online billing-management platform for issuing invoices and collecting customer payments. It is separate from the merchant reporting functions of Gravity Dashboard.

The distinction is easy to miss:

ProductTypical purpose
Gravity DashboardMerchant reporting, statements and transaction activity
Virtual TerminalMerchant-operated payment entry
Gravity PortalsCustomer invoices and payment collection
Access OneReporting for eligible standalone or non-integrated accounts

A customer paying an invoice usually does not need the merchantโ€™s Dashboard login. The customer should use the payment route supplied by the business.

Merchant users should not send customers to the general Merchant Logins page unless the customer is also an authorized account user.

Login Problems That Are Really Account Problems

The Gravity Dashboard page provides an email field, password field and Reset password option.

Use the reset route when all three statements are true:

  • Gravity Dashboard is the correct portal.
  • The email belongs to an existing Dashboard user.
  • The problem is actually the password.

When any of those points is uncertain, confirm the account route first.

Gravityโ€™s developer documentation lists error 00007 when a merchant has been deactivated. It lists error 00008 when the current batch cannot be retrieved, commonly because the account is inactive or batches are out of sync.

Neither error describes an ordinary forgotten password.

Record the exact code. Then contact support.

Vague wording slows diagnosis. โ€œThe account is not workingโ€ gives less information than โ€œerror 00008 appears when the terminal requests the current batch.โ€

Access One Versus Gravity Dashboard

Access One is specifically documented for merchants using standalone or non-integrated payment processing whose MID begins with โ€œ4โ€ or โ€œ5.โ€ It provides access to batch history, chargeback information and monthly statements.

Gravity Dashboard provides broader centralized payment activity, including recent transactions, batch history, sales information and Virtual Terminal access.

The correct choice is not based on which portal looks newer. It is based on the merchant account.

Use the MID. Skip guessing.

Businesses that have changed equipment, software or processing arrangements may also have old bookmarks that no longer represent the current workflow. Enter through the official Merchant Logins page rather than relying on a saved address from a former employee.

Getting Gravity Payments Support

Gravityโ€™s support page currently lists assistance at (866) 701-4700 and says multilingual support is available 24 hours a day in English, Spanish, Korean and Japanese.

Contact support when:

  • the MID does not produce a clear portal
  • an employee cannot see the correct location
  • statements are missing
  • an account appears deactivated
  • batch retrieval fails
  • a Virtual Terminal function is unavailable
  • Access One or Dispute Manager login fails

Gravityโ€™s Dispute Manager documentation also directs merchants experiencing enrollment or login trouble to the support team.

Prepare a narrow description. Include the merchant location, portal name, affected function and exact error wording.

Do not send ordinary messages containing login credentials or customer payment information. Account actions should be completed only through Gravityโ€™s authenticated tools or verified support route.
